In this third post on booster doses I will go into more details about the upcoming booster doses and give my thoughts on what these booster doses mean going forward.

COVID-19: What to think of the J&J vaccine?

I’m NOT saying that people should NOT receive the J&J vaccine. I’m saying that I limit my recommendation for the J&J vaccine to a relatively small group of people: males and older females who are opposed to receiving the mRNA vaccines.

COVID-19: J&J Efficacy Review

Remember the goal of these vaccines is not to prevent all infections. The goal is to prevent enough infections, and certainly enough hospitalizations and deaths, so that COVID-19 is no more frequent or worse than the other risks we were facing prior to the pandemic. I think the available evidence both from clinical trials and “real-world” population data is pretty clear that these vaccines will get us there.
